Wooden Bluenose Sailboat (B51) + Trailer for $6,500 in Halifax

From ad:

"B51, built late 1940's/early 1950's (?). Impressive racing history. Boat is all wood construction and requires someone who has the time and energy to own a wooden sailboat. She's in good condition and sailing beautifully.. Currently sitting in Corkum Built Road trailer which is in excellent condition. Trailer alone would be $5-6k. Boat located in Chester. Msg if interested!"

I like the idea of wood. More of a retirement project. Glass hulls for now.  Are there any good examples of wood hulls with a wining history?

Good question. I really don't know - Bob Lee might know. There are two wooden Bluenoses in Halifax now - Storm and Hornpipe.
