May 24th: A foggy Wednesday night race

We had three Bluenoses out tonight (out of 5 total); there was lots of fun, good competition and camaraderie. The course was:

  • Start
  • RNSYS Green Buoy
  • Morten’s
  • Finish

Tod and I sailed Rudolf and we had some very strong upwind tacks tonight towards the RNSYS buoy. We picked up where we left off last year and both felt really good about our trim, our smooth tacks and ability to point high despite our poor start and my louse leward mark rounding. We came second to Gersemi (not a Bluenose) who beat us by 24 seconds in PHRF corrected time.
